Description:
This is one of the six proposed Lift Irrigation
Schemes for the famine affected areas of the
Solapur district. The water, released from
the Ujjani reservoir on the Bhima River and from
the Sina River, is lifted through two lifts of
50m & 26m and is supplied through various distribution
canals to help irrigate 10,000 hectares
of land from
North Solapur and Mohol talukas. |
