After an outstanding academic record culminating at the university of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, Rewati has worked for over 12 years as an urban designer in the USA, Europe and India. Along with her husband, Tushar Prabhu, she was an integral member of the core group that started Frischmann Prabhu India in 1995.

Rewati leads master-planning projects all over the world. She is passionate about urban regeneration and particularly interested in low-income housing in India.

She is also one of the architects of the Tata Jagriti Yatra, an innovative pan-India youth-enterprise program, which has been supported by FPI since its inception.
